Student Wellbeing Services is launching new Sexual Health Clinical Services.

Safer Sex Supplies
  • Days/Times: Tuesday and Thursday 11am-2pm, Wednesday 1pm-4pm
  • What do students get: Students can grab up to 5 barrier methods (external and internal condoms, & dental dams) and 3 lubes (water-based, silicone-based, or flavored)
  • How to access the service:
    • This does not require an appointment. 
    • Students can check into the student health center front desk and ask for visit the PAW room
      • Student can still access safer sex supplies at the RAW 10am-8pm
FamilyPACT Enrollment Clinic
  • What do students get: A 15-minute appointment where students can find out if they are eligible for FamilyPACT and apply together with a staff member. If time permits other sexual health information will be gone over as well such as Pregnancy Prevention Options, STI Prevention, Barrier Method Demos, and Consent/Sexual Boundaries.
  • How to access the service:
    • Appointments are required at SHCS for this service. 
    • Book through MyPioneerHealth, calling the front desk 510-885-3735, or walk in to talk to the front desk staff to make an appointment
Ask the Sexpert Clinic
  • What do students get: A 45-minute appointment which is a holistic approach to sexual education that will be a deep dive view into sexual health education topics and how each of these topics affects your sexual health. Appointment is offered in a Comprehensive, Shame-Free, Sex-Positive, and Evidence-Based model. Such topics include Pregnancy Prevention Options, STI Prevention, Barrier Method Demos, Consent/Sexual Boundaries, and more.
  • How to access the service:
    • Appointments are required at SHCS for this service. 
    • Book through MyPioneerHealth, calling the front desk 510-885-3735 , or walk in to talk to the front desk staff to make an appointment

FREE Flu Vaccine Available

PrEP

Pre-Exposure Prophylaxis for HIV by prescription only Truvada (FTC/TDF) cost ~$20-$25 is available at the Student Health & Counseling Services.  Schedule appointment with the medical provider for more information.

Opioid Overdose Treatment

Narcan® (Naloxone) is the antidote that reverses opioid overdoses.  It is available at the Student Health and Counseling Services and University Police Department at no charge to students.

Hayward Clinic Hours of Operation:

Monday open 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Tuesday open 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Wednesday open 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Thursday open 10:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
Friday open 8:30 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.
 

Concord Center Hours of Operation:

Counseling Services: Wednesdays  9:00am-5:00pm
Medical Services: Wednesdays 2:00 - 5:30pm

You can schedule appointments for Medical or Counseling services by coming in person to our front desk during office hours, by logging in to MyPioneerHealth, or by calling us at 510-885-3735.  Both telehealth (video via Zoom) and in-persons appointments are available.

Student Health and Counseling Services

Student Health & Counseling Services is a fully accredited by AAAHC outpatient clinic staffed by Board Certified Physicians, and licensed Nurse Practitioners, Medical Staff, and Counselors. Student Health & Counseling Services offers basic medical care for most illnesses and injuries and various elective services.
