ASI Stands for EAST BAY VOTES

Associated Students, Inc. (ASI) partners with Cal State East Bay to ensure that all students, faculty, and staff have strong representation in the voting process. Under the leadership of the Campus Civic Voter & Engagement Coordinator, Yvette Harbor, ASI participates in and helps coordinate activities that support the California “Students Vote Project” and the California University and College BALLOT BOWL.

What is BALLOT BOWL? It is a competition within the campus community to be recognized for our voter and civic engagement! Do you want to see Cal State East Bay win and be recognized? Get ready to engage!

While we understand that not everyone may be eligible to vote, everyone in our community has a voice. We cannot “sit on the sidelines” and allow our future to be determined for us; we need to be active participants and work to hold our elected officials accountable to serve our needs for a better future!

IT’S GO TIME: Here’s what YOU should do (it also helps East Bay get points!):

1. Check out EAST BAY VOTES for more information and events on campus!
2. Register (or re-register) on-line and make sure to select Cal State East Bay (consider registering to vote locally if your home address is further away – local community needs are extremely important for college students).
3. Complete your College Student Voter Plan to be prepared for Election Day (form available Aug 10 – Nov 3, 2026).
4. Tell a friend! Encourage others in your classes, RSOs, and work environments to help change the world!
