Genentech ENGAGE Mentorship Program 2023-24 - For 3rd and 4th years

Program dates: 2023-24 Academic Year

CAP has partnered with biotech company, Genentech, to provide a mentorship opportunity for CSU East Bay students with the following objectives:
  • Provide a tailored experience to immerse students in the world of biotechnology as a potential career path. Students have the opportunity to explore functions including: clinical research, clinical pharmacology, safety science, clinical operations, regulatory, data management, finance, biostatistic, compliance, and others.
  • Provide individualized personal and career support to mentees.
  • Help mentees build confidence, knowledge of the drug development industry, provide guidance, advice and feedback from experienced biotech professionals.
  • Ensure that mentees leave the program with a resume that could propel them to a biotechnology internship, regular position, or for application into higher degrees.

Application and Program Details

  • Student Application Opens on Monday, August 21st 

  • Application closes on Tuesday, September 5th by 11pm 

  • Live Zoom Info Session: Tuesday, August 29th from 12:15pm to 12:45pm (Register Here)

  • Student Orientation: Week of September 25-29 (more info to come!)
