In order to sign-in to Curriculog, use your University credentials (net ID and password). Every Cal State East Bay faculty, staff, or administrator has access to log-in to Curriculog. Create a New Course
0-CN1: Course - GEOC - NEW (2027-28 Catalog)
- Propose a brand New GEOC Course (GE, Overlay, Code) - not currently in existence.
- This form includes the ability to propose a University Writing Requirement (UWR) certification "W" to a GEOC course.
0-CN2: Course - Non-GEOC - NEW (2027-28 Catalog)
- Propose a brand NEW Non-GEOC Course (undergraduate).
- Propose a brand NEW Post-Baccalaureate/Graduate/Doctoral course.
This form includes the ability to propose a University Writing Requirement (UWR) certification "W" to a Non-GEOC course.
0-CN3: Course - Continuing Education ONLY - NEW - (2027-28 Catalog)
- This form is to be used by University Extension to request a new 800 level semester-system course that uses an academic (credit-bearing) prefix.
Recertify or Revise a Course
0-CR1: Course - GEOC - Recertification ONLY - NR (2027-28 Catalog)
- RECERTIFY ONLY an existing GEOC course with No Revisions (NR) due for 5-year Recertification: (UD-4; UD-5; Overlay-Only).
- In this form all course catalog data must remain the same.
An updated syllabus/syllabi and a GEOC Alignment Form are required.
Warning: If you want to make course data revisions (such as changes to the description, prerequisites, SLOs, etc.), use the "0-CR2: Course - GEOC - Revision/Recertification" form.
0-CR2: Course - GEOC - Revision/Recertification (2027-28 Catalog)
- REVISE & RECERTIFY an existing GEOC course due for Recertification (UD-4; UD-5; Overlay-Only Courses).
- REVISE an existing GEOC course NOT due for Recertification.
- Add or revise Overlay and/or Code to existing GEOC course.
- Add GE, overlay and/or code to an existing Non-GEOC course.
- Add or revise an University Writing Requirement (UWR) certification "W" to an existing GEOC course.
- Add course to the GE Minor in Sustainability.
- Remove existing GEOC area(s) from a course.
- Unbank and recertify GEOC area(s) course.
*Important: For a 5-Year Recertification with NO course revisions, use the "GEOC-Recertification ONLY (No Revisions)" form. This shorter form is designed specifically for recertification only. An updated syllabus/syllabi and GEOC Alignment Form are still required.
0-CR3: Course - Non-GEOC - Revision (2027-28 Catalog)
- Revise an existing Non-GEOC Course (undergraduate).
- Revise a Post-Baccalaureate/Graduate/Doctoral course.
This form includes the ability to add or revise a University Writing Requirement (UWR) certification "W" to an existing Non-GEOC course.
0-CR5: Course - Un-bank - Non-GEOC (2027-28 Catalog)
- Un-Bank (reactivate) a banked Non-GEOC course (an existing inactive course that is not for GE, Overlay, Code).
- You may revise the course.
An updated syllabus is required. This form includes the ability to add and revise a University Writing Requirement (UWR) certification "W".
0-CR6: Course - Bank (Inactivate) (2027-28 Catalog)
- Bank (inactivate) an existing course not to be offered for a significant period of time, or ever.
0-CN7: Course - NON-GEOC - Online/Hybrid Bulk Approval Request (2027-28 Catalog)
Use this form to:
- Request bulk approval of revisions to the delivery method(s) of non-GEOC courses in a program(s) already WASC-approved for Distance Education.
Warning: If an online/hybrid pathway is desired in a program not WASC approved for Distance Education, then please complete the "Program-Degree/Major-Revision" proposal, where you can also request bulk approval of your courses and WASC approval.
Create a New Program
0-PN2: Program - Concentration - NEW (2027-28 AY)
- Use this form to propose a NEW concentration for an existing bachelor's or master's degree program.
Revise an Existing Program
0-PR1: Program - Degree/Major - REVISION (2027-28 AY) - Select Shared Core
Use this form: for Non-Substantive and Substantive changes:
- Request a curricular, or non-curricular, revision to the Shared Core of an existing degree/major program that has a concentration or concentrations. Note: concentrations cannot be revised on this form.
- Request a curriculular, or non-curricular, revision to an existing degree program with no concentrations.
- Request a change in title, degree type, and/or CSU program (CIP) code.
- Request to add a Self-Support version to an existing State-Support Degree. Or, request to move an existing Self-Support degree program to State-Support
- Add a Hybrid or Online version of an existing program.
- If you are adding a newly proposed concentration to your program and need to revise the Shared Core. Note: concentration curriculum cannot be added or revised on this form.
***Important*** - After you start your proposal, before you search for your program, CHANGE the radio button to "Shared Core." This action will enable the system to properly import the information.
0-PR2: Program - Concentration - REVISION (2027-28 AY) - Select Program
- Use this form to propose a revision to an existing concentration program
***Important*** - After you 'start proposal,' select "Program" under "Program Type" (this is the default). Then, search the "Title" of your program concentration. Select, and build.
0-PR3: Program - Minor - REVISION (2027-28 AY) - Select Program
- Propose a revision to an existing 'Minor' program.
***Important*** - After you 'start proposal', select "Program" under "Program Type" (this is the default). Then, search the "Title" of your Minor. Select, and Build.
0-PR4: Program - Credential - REVISION (2027-28 AY) - Select 'Shared Core'
*Important* Select SHARED CORE to import your existing program information from the catalog.
Use this form to
- Request a curricular, or non-curricular revision to an existing degree/major program core (concentrations cannot be proposed or revised on this form).
- Request a change in title, degree type, or CSU Program (CIP) code.
- Request to move an existing Self-Support degree program to State-Support, or add a Self-Support version of a degree program to an existing State-Support Degree, and/or
- Add an Online/Hybrid version of a degree program to an existing on-ground program.
0-PR5: Program - Certificate OR Subject Matter Preparation - REVISION (2027-28 AY Cycle) - Select Program
Use this form to
- Request a curricular revision to an existing Certificate or Subject Matter Preparation program.
- Request a non-curricular revision to an existing Certificate or Subject Matter Preparation program.
- Request a change in title, degree type, or CSU Program (CIP) code.
- Request to move an existing Self-Support degree program to State-Support, or add a Self-Support version of a degree program to an existing State-Support Degree, AND/OR,
- Add an Online and/or Hybrid version of a degree program to an existing on-ground program.
0-OR7: Request to Add Approved Electives (2027-28 Catalog)
Please use this form to request changes in approved elective curriculum requirements listed in the catalog.
Note: An added course(s) cannot change the required units of the section. The course(s) can only add to the selection of courses in the course list.
Note: Only one program may be updated for each form. However, multiple course requests can be made on the same form.
Suspend or Discontinue a Program
0-OR2: Program - Degree/Non-Degree - Temporary Suspension (2027-28 AY)
Use this form to: Request a temporary suspension of an academic program.
0-OR3: Program - Degree/Non-Degree - Discontinuance (2027-28 AY)
Use this form to request a discontinuance of an academic program including:
- degree/major, concentration, minor, certificate, credential, or a subject matter preparation program.
Create or Change an Academic Unit
0-OR6: Academic Unit - Formation, Dissolution, Name Change, Merger (2027-28 AY)
Use this form to request the formation of a new unit (i.e. department), the dissolution or merger of a unit, or to change the name of a current unit.
