- College Dean/Associate Dean submits to Senate Office for CAPR. (Must be approved by the CSU Board of Trustees prior to submitting a new degree proposal).

Deadline for Proposal Launch
- (9 months in advance of effective catalog)
Deadline for College Committee Approval and received in APS by Oct 15
- (8 months in advance of effective catalog) Only proposals approved by the Academic Senate by March 1 will be included in the next effective catalog and class schedule

- Courses:
- All Course Proposals (New, revised, GEOC, Non-GEOC, Overlay, G.R., UWR, Bank, Unbank).
- New Prefix requests.
- Programs:
- Revisions - Existing Programs (Non-substantive changes. These may include but are not limited to: Any course changes within a program, including those that fit within program requirements, that do NOT impact total degree or concentration units.)
- Non-Curricular Edits such as changes to program descriptions, program learning outcomes, or program features.

- (17 months in advance of effective catalog)

- New Degree Programs.
- New concentrations within existing degree programs
- New Credential, Certificate or Subject Matter Preparation programs.
- Revision with substantive changes:
- Revised degree title.
- Revised degree or concentration total units.
- Revised offering format (self-support vs state), or delivery format (online, hybrid designation) of degree, concentration or credential program.
- Elevation of an existing concentration to a degree program.
- All discontinued or temporarily suspended programs.
