  • Our Zoom sessions are tentatively scheduled to take place December 4 and will last 1 hour each.
  • We will host 2 Freshman Zoom sessions and 2 Transfer Zoom sessions.
  • When orientation registration opens, you will select a day/time and sign up for a specific session.
  • You will be provided the Zoom link and instructions in advance, and join the Zoom meeting on your specific day/time you signed up for.

You will also have opportunity to connect with our Orientation Team Leaders, who are eager to assist you and ensure you have a smooth transition to the University.  They will be available throughout summer to answer questions you may have!
  • Lastly, this portion will also provide next steps on how to access Part 2 via Blackboard.

The Basics:

  • Blackboard is Cal State State East Bay’s Learning Management System.
  • You will complete this portion next, and it is done at your own pace.
  • This portion will be available December 14 through end of January.
  • As it will take a few hours to complete, we recommend you complete this portion in multiple sittings rather than all at once.

  • You will also learn about your rights as a student, and what Cal State East Bay expects of you as a Pioneer
