Your support of Cal State East Bay is a vote of confidence in our students, and helps the university provide them extraordinary life experiences — everything from fulfilling their dreams of a college degree to extracurricular activities that help them shape their career-focused expertise. 

Less than half of Cal State East Bay’s funding comes from the state. The university relies on the generosity of you - our alumni and friends - to help give students the beyond-the-classroom education they deserve. Your gift through the annual fund can be used for specific college and program needs, letting you choose where you want to make an impact.. 

In addition to the direct impact of your donation, did you know:

• Alumni giving factors in several national college rankings, and some foundations consider alumni giving rates when making large grants. Your gift helps raise our public perception. 
• In 2019-2020, alumni gave an average of $252 to support programs of their choice, for a total of nearly $900,000 to the university.
