Orientation
The university and your department both provide orientation materials covering your degree program and the courses to enroll in.
Student Outreach holds an online orientation for new graduate students each semester, and a recording is available. The Office of Graduate Studies has an additional video orientation covering further topics.
Your department offers a program-specific orientation. Contact your academic department or your program’s coordinator, listed on the graduate program coordinators page.
The International Admissions Office runs an orientation for international students; details are on their orientation page.
Advising
For questions about your program, contact your program’s coordinator on the graduate program coordinators page or your academic department. Some programs have further advising resources: the Office of CBE Graduate Advising for business programs and the Credential Student Service Center for credential programs.
University Catalog
The University Catalog describes your program and the policies governing all graduate students at Cal State East Bay. The graduate student handbook covers university requirements, policies, and procedures.
