Spring 26 New Graduate Student Welcome Event
Attention All Graduate Students!
Please join us for a graduate student connections event on Thursday, January 29th from 11:30 am - 1 pm. This event will be held in-person in the University Union Multipurpose Room - B (the side with windows). Please help us welcome our new Spring 26 graduate students, meet other continuing graduate students, and hang out with your friends. We'd love to meet you in-person!
We'll have pizza, giveaways, and some games to play.

Graduate Program Information Sessions
Many East Bay Graduate programs hold regular information sessions so that you can learn more about the degrees and how to apply. You'll have the opportunity to ask any questions you have. Programs which offer information sessions include the MBA, MS Business Analytics, Teaching Credentials, Speech Language Pathology, and more. CSU STEM-NET Research Talks
CSU STEM-NET sponsors online research talks by STEM faculty throughout the system. There are typically 3-4 talks per semester from a wide range of STEM disciplines.

STEM-NET is a multi-campus collaboration, or affinity group, working with all 23 CSU campuses and areas of STEM research and education.
STEM-NET connects and strengthens faculty research and educational collaborations across the CSU system and across disciplines. It expands opportunities for active learning, innovative pedagogy, and supports CSU faculty in developing grant proposals with potential for scaling and sustainability with high impact and fundability.

Spring 2026 New Graduate Student Orientation
The Spring 2026 New Graduate Student Orientation will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026 in VBT 124 and via Zoom.
Please join us for a graduate student orientation on Thursday, January 15th. Check-in for the in-person event is 12:30-1:30 pm, and the event itself begins at 1:30 pm and lasts until 4:00 pm. You may attend in-person in VBT 124 on the Hayward campus or via Zoom. We'd love to see you in-person so that we can meet you and you can meet other new graduate students!
Our orientation program is designed to provide you with the information to actively engage with the campus community, inform you about campus resources, policies, leadership opportunities, and more!

Graduate Student Connections Events
Calling all CSUEB grad students! Take a break from papers and projects to celebrate spooky season with your fellow Pioneers.

🕸️ What: Free treats, games, and mini pumpkin painting!
Costumes encouraged (but not required). Just bring your grad student spirit and come have some fun!
Fall 2025 Graduate School Fair

The California State University, East Bay, Office of Graduate Studies invites interested participants to our Fall 2025 Graduate School Fair.
Representatives from over 50 graduate programs from Cal State East Bay, and a selection of CSUs, UCs, and private universities will be available to answer questions about their graduate programs, admission requirements, and more.
The event will be held in-person in UU MPR on the Hayward campus.

Are you interested in graduate school?
Please join us for a set of workshops on Thursday, September 18th from 1 - 3 pm to help you learn about graduate school and decide if it is right for you. There will be sessions with Graduate Studies, Admissions, Financial Aid, and Career Empowerment.
This event will be held in-person in CORE 159 but you may also join the workshops via Zoom (https://csueb.zoom.us/j/85186032532).
