WIL Fellowship Path

The Women in Leadership (WIL) Fellowship is a transformative program designed to empower and equip college students with the skills, knowledge, and network to become influential leaders in their chosen fields. This unique experience offers a comprehensive blend of mentorship, networking, leadership development, and real-world application.

What You Can Expect:

  1. Membership in a Thriving Leadership Community: Join a vibrant community of like-minded individuals who share your passion for leadership and gender equity. Forge lasting connections and friendships that will support you throughout your career journey.
  2. Meet Leaders in the Field: Gain exclusive access to renowned leaders and industry experts through workshops, panel discussions, and networking events. Learn from their experiences and insights, and build a network of mentors and peers.
  3. Mentorship: Receive one-on-one mentorship from seasoned professionals who will guide you in setting and achieving your leadership goals. Your mentor will provide valuable advice, feedback, and encouragement tailored to your unique aspirations.
  4. Leadership Project: Showcase your leadership skills by initiating and leading a project of your choice. This hands-on experience allows you to apply what you've learned and make a tangible impact on your campus or community.

Leadership and Career Development Seminar: Register and participate in a seminar (Mgmt 624 for graduate students and Mgmt 400 for undergraduate students) that covers essential strategies for leadership and career development. Topics include effective communication, negotiation, personal branding, and resilience.
  6. Participation in the Mentor's Table: As a WIL Fellow, you'll also have the opportunity to engage with experienced senior executives through our Mentor's Table initiative. This additional avenue for mentorship and networking is a powerful complement to your fellowship experience.
  7. Access to Additional Avenues: Beyond the WIL Fellowship, explore a range of opportunities and events that will further enhance your leadership journey. These include workshops, conferences, and initiatives aimed at empowering women in leadership.
