Public Transportation

All three Cal State East Bay campuses are easily accessible by major freeways and public transportation. The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART)AC Transit and Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) systems are the most popular forms of public transportation to CSUEB. For information regarding fares and individual transit schedules, please visit the BARTAC, and CCCTA websites.

Hayward Campus

To provide the campus community with the ability to travel more frequently between BART and CSUEB, AC Transit provides service on the #60 bus from Hayward BART to CSUEB. For the AC Transit Bus #60 schedule, please click below. This service is no longer free with a valid University I.D. Find out more information on AC transit fares

Free campus shuttles run to and from the Hayward and Castro Valley BART stations, as well.
