All three Cal State East Bay campuses are easily accessible by major freeways and public transportation. The Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART), AC Transit and Central Contra Costa Transit Authority (CCCTA) systems are the most popular forms of public transportation to CSUEB. For information regarding fares and individual transit schedules, please visit the BART, AC, and CCCTA websites.
To provide the campus community with the ability to travel more frequently between BART and CSUEB, AC Transit provides service on the #60 bus from Hayward BART to CSUEB. For the AC Transit Bus #60 schedule, please click below. This service is no longer free with a valid University I.D. Find out more information on AC transit fares.
Free campus shuttles run to and from the Hayward and Castro Valley BART stations, as well.
The Professional Development & Conference Center, located at 1000 Broadway, Suite 109, is easily accessible by BART. The Center is located across the street from the Oakland City Center/12th Street BART Station; be sure to exit the station using the 11th Street Exit. From the Oakland City Center/12th Street BART station, or from other parts of Oakland, take AC Transit buses #1, 1R, 11, 12, 14, 18, 20, 26, 31, 40, 51A, 58L, 72, 72M, 72R, and 88.
The Concord Campus Commuter shuttle runs Monday - Thursday and is available to all current Cal State East Bay students, faculty and staff. Shuttle services are free of charge to riders displaying their Bay Card campus ID.
Limited bus service is available during times the shuttle does not run via the County Connection. Please check the CCCTA Web site for updated schedules on the #10 bus and the 93x express bus from the Antioch/Pittsburg area.
