College of Letters, Arts, and Social Sciences

Attention Faculty, Staff, and Students

The College of Letters, Arts and Social Sciences (CLASS) is dedicated to support you, no matter the distance. Currently, the College and Department offices are open on a hybrid schedule; some days are 100% virtual. 

To reach the CLASS office for general questions and assistance, you may:

  1. Email - She will be checking her email M-F from AM-PM ready to support you.
  2. Call us at 510-885-3161 and leave us a voicemail - Our staff will be checking messages daily and are here to return your call.

All CLASS Faculty, Staff, and Student Assistants who visit campus are required to complete the following form each time they come to campus.
Please note that you do not need permission to be on campus. We just need to know what buildings you are in should there be a reported case of COVID by a person in a building in order to determine where the exposure has been. (Students enrolled in F2F classes do not have to log in. Only employees, faculty, staff, students who are on campus and working.)  Staff and student assistants should be in communication with their supervisor about their schedules.
