Chicanx Latinx Staff & Faculty Association

The purpose of the Chicanx Latinx Staff and Faculty Association (CLSFA) is to advocate for and support opportunities for Latine/Latino/Latina students, faculty, and staff at California State University, East Bay. The goals of CLSFA include:

• Increase access, retention, and graduation rates of Latinx Students
• Provide opportunities for Latinx students to engage in community
• Advocate for and support the recruitment, retention, promotion, and tenure of greater numbers of Latinx faculty and staff
• Work with University administration to increase opportunities for faculty and staff to advance to administrative and policy-making positions
• Work with academic departments to reflect the Latinx experience throughout the curriculum
• Improve its linkages with and service to the Latinx community
