Parking & Alternative Transportation Services

The Parking & Alternative Transportation Services Department's mission is to provide & promote alternative transportation options to our campus community and guests while also providing a safe, well maintained parking infrastructure that allows the Cal State East Bay Community to get to their destination as safely and efficiently as possible.

Fall 2021 Semester Student Parking Permits

Fall 2021 Student Semester Permits will be available for purchase beginning August 1, 2021. 

To purchase your permit go to mycampuspermit.com/eastbay. The permit will be mailed to you, make sure your mailing address is up to date. There is also a temporary paper permit you can print and display on your dashboard while you are waiting for the permit to arrive in the mail. (If you are staying in the dorms, the permit will come to our office and we will contact you when it is ready for pickup.)

Parking on Campus - Permits Required

Parking permits are required at Cal State East Bay when students, faculty, staff or visitors are parking their vehicle on campus Mondays -Thursdays from 7:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m. and Fridays from 7:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the Hayward and Concord campuses. Parking permits are required during the break in between terms as well.

Daily/Hourly permits can be purchased on campus at any of the five Parking Permit Dispensers. Student Semester permits can be purchase online here. Faculty/Staff permits can only be purchased on campus at the Cashier's Office.

Clipper START - discounted transit pass

Clipper START is a pilot program to provide single-ride discounts to eligible riders. Participants can receive 20% - 50% San Francisco Bay Area Transit. Click here for more info.

 

BART offers 50% off all Clipper fares in September!

BART will offer a special promotion of 50% off all fares on Clipper for the entire month of September 2021.

The discount will apply to all fares on Clipper and will be stackable with other Clipper discounts. That means 50% off will be given on top of already discounted Clipper cards such as Youth, Senior, RTC, Clipper Start, and the Gator Pass.
