Current Students with Accessibility Services
Now that you have had your Welcome Meeting, it is important to maintain contact with your accessibility counselor should you have any questions or concerns about your accommodations. Please do not hesitate to do so by contacting us or your counselor directly. One way you can do so, aside from contacting us by phone or email, is by utilizing your Accommodate Portal to make an appointment.
If you have a temporary disability (i.e., broken extremity, other injury, illness, or medical complications resulting from pregnancy), that may last from a few weeks to a semester, you may be eligible for other academic accommodations. Title IX of the Education Amendments of 1972 ("Title IX"), 20 U.S.C. § 1681 et seq., is a Federal civil rights law that prohibits discrimination on the basis of sex - including pregnancy and parental status - in educational programs and activities. Read more about Cal State East Bay's pregnancy policies here. Please contact our office to schedule an appointment with your accessibility counselor.
