Getting Started

To get started with Accessibility Services at CSU East Bay, students must schedule an initial Welcome Meeting with an accessibility counselor, which is required before accommodations can be considered. This meeting can be arranged by:

  • Submitting a Welcome Meeting Request Form
  • Calling 510-885-3868
  • Emailing as@csueastbay.edu
  • Or visiting our main office located in LI 2400.

No formal documentation is needed to make the appointment, though students are encouraged to provide relevant records to help guide the conversation about their needs. The process also accommodates students with temporary conditions, including pregnancy, and those navigating special admissions situations, and it can be initiated at any time in a student’s academic journey if disability-related barriers arise.
