Global Scholarships Application Process and Timeline

  • Only students who are seeking to earn an undergraduate degree from CSUEB may apply. Short-term, non-degree seeking students are not eligible to apply.
  • Submit application and essay via Pioneer Scholarships Portal. (Students must have submitted a Cal State Apply application in order to access the scholarship portal and must submit unofficial transcripts and test scores by the posted scholarship deadline.)
  • Portal opens in November. Global Scholarships priority deadline is January 31.
  • Awards will be made in the spring of each year for the following academic year.
Scholarships are competitive. Meeting eligibility does not guarantee award.
Number of scholarships available is not guaranteed and is subject to funding availability.
Being awarded a scholarship does not waive the requirement for a student to provide financial documentation for admission purposes.
