The Department of Health Sciences merged with the Department of Nursing.
Health Sciences Program begins hiring additional tenure track faculty.
Health Sciences Program proposes separation from Nursing and the re-creation of the Department of Health Sciences in Fall 2018. Health Sciences has ten tenure-track faculty, over fifteen lecturers, and more than 1400 students.
The Department of Health Sciences is formed as California State University, East Bay transitions to a semester system. Health Sciences offers a Health Sciences, B.S with concentrations in Public Health and Health Policy.
