On Friday evening, May 25, 2001 the Museum held a second reception for the exhibition Not Just Another Pretty Face: The Facts Behind the Artifacts in order to both celebrate the inauguration of the new Applied Anthropology track of the MA program at CSUEB and as a reunion for the many CSUEB Anthropology alumni that have worked with the Museum over the past 20+ years. A high point of the evening was a transcontinental video conference featuring four CSUEB Anthropology graduates who have been working in diverse aspects of anthroplogy. The panel was comprised by Dottie Castille (Columbia University), Willie Nieman (Polemics Corp), Breck Parkman (California Department of Parks and Recreation), and Christie Rockwell (Temple University). The discussion was moderated by Prof. Laurie Price (CSUEB).
