Link to a Page


Overview

An internal link is a link that goes to any web page within Cascade CMS. In other words, any web page that starts with "www.csueastbay.edu".

Examples of internal links include: College of Science, Department of Biology, and Cascade Training.

How To Create An Internal Link?

  1. Enter the Link Text.

  2. Select Page.

  3. Select Choose Page.

  4. Select the Browse Tab to locate the page.

  5. Note: In this example we will choose a page from a different site inside of Cascade Server (if you are using a page from the current site, skip this step).
    Select the drop-down menu to find the site.

  6. Navigate to the page you are linking to.

  7. Select Choose.

  8. Select Preview Draft.

  9. After previewing changes made on your draft, select Submit.

  10. Enter Comments for changes made.

  11. Select Check Content & Submit to add changes to your site.

  12. After you have selected Check Content & Submit, Cascade Server will check for spelling, broken links and accessibility. Once the check has been completed, select the Check Box.

  13. When you're ready to go live, the last step is to Publish the Changes.
