How To Upload A Document

Please note: even though this tutorial shows uploading PDFs and other documents, it is always preferred to create HTML pages for your content (Add Content > Page) for accessibility, SEO (Search Engine Optimization), mobile-friendliness and overall usability. Whenever possible, create HTML pages for your site's content.

  1. Log into Cascade CMS and select your site.
  2. Select Add Content on the top navigation menu.

  3. Select Document.

  4. Enter a Title.

  5. Drag and drop the document or select choose inside the box to browse for the document.

  6. When the file has been received by Cascade Server, you will see the file inside the box.

  7. Select Preview Draft.

  8. Select Submit to upload the document.

  9. Enter comments.

  10. Select Check Content & Submit.

  11. Select the Check Box.

  12. The file has been successfully uploaded and now can be viewed on the asset tree.

  13. When you're ready to go live, the last step is to Publish the Changes.
