Summer Application Process

All students interested in staying on campus for the summer due to classes, internships, jobs, or preferences are welcome to submit their applications! Student Housing and Residence Life is more than happy to have you with us this summer.

Applications submitted on or after Wednesday, April 13, 2022, will not participate in room selection.

Summer Community

All summer residents will be assigned to Coloma apartments and although there will be two residents assigned to each bedroom, there may be up to three twin XL beds, dressers, desks, and chairs.

Application Information

The $40 non-refundable application fee and a $500 initial payment are required to complete the contract.

  • If you are not able to make the full payment there is a payment plan option but you must first complete the form.
  • The $500 initial payment will be applied towards Academic Year 2022-2023 rent fees.

Methods of payment

  • Electronic check – no service fee
    • Routing and account number is needed
  • Credit/Debit Card – 2.75% service fee

Application and Contract Process

  1. Application: Log on to the Student Housing Portal using your Net ID and password.
  2. Once you log on, follow the prompts
  3. Application: $40 application fee is required to begin the application and contract process. The application fee is waived for students that have completed the Academic Year 2022-2023 application and contract process.
  4. Contract: Once the application fee has been paid, the portal will redirect to the online contract
    • Complete all portions of the online contract.
    • Submit a $500 initial payment through the housing portal.
    • Electronically sign the contract to complete the process.
    • Note: Contract is not complete without initial payment.

Room Selection Process

If your application was submitted between Monday, April 4, 2022, and Sunday, April 10, 2022, you will have the option to participate in room selection. Applicants will have to log in to the portal at the given time to select their room for summer.
