Benefits Open Enrollment

September 18, 2023 through October 13, 2023

Mark your calendars! The CSU annual Open Enrollment period takes place September 18, 2023 through October 13, 2023. This is your opportunity to review your current benefit plan elections and ensure they continue to meet your needs and those of your family for the upcoming year. You can enroll, change, or cancel CalPERS health, dental, vision, FlexCash, Dependent Care Reimbursement Account (DCRA), Health Care Reimbursement Account (HCRA), or voluntary benefits plans.

  • If you are currently enrolled in the HCRA and DCRA plan(s), you must re-enroll in the plan(s) for next year as these plans require an annual enrollment.

  • If you do not intend to make any changes to your health or dental benefits at this time, no action is necessary. However, please note that all employees are subject to health premium rate changes.

Open Enrollment changes will be submitted through MyHR. Select the “Employee Tab” and “Open Enrollment.” Please refer to the Quick Step – Open Enrollment Guide for instructions on making your open enrollment changes beginning Monday, September 18, 2023. No changes will be accepted after October 13, 2023.

The effective date for changes made during the Open Enrollment period is January 1, 2024.
