Summer Aid
Details
Financial aid is available to degree-seeking undergraduate, teaching credential, and graduate/professional CSUEB students enrolled in the Summer Session.
NOTE: Summer Session is not available for Cross Registration/Cross Enrollment
Eligibility Requirements
- Submit a 2024-2025 FAFSA or California Dream Act Application (CADAA)
- Enrollment requirements for undergraduates/teaching credential students: to be considered for federal loans you must be enrolled in at least 6 units. Annual aggregate limits apply. Pell Grant eligibility is determined by an enrollment intensity of at least 1 unit, amounts vary based on your SAI (Student Aid Index), Lifetime Eligibility Usage (LEU) and Cost of Attendance (COA).
- Enrollment requirements for graduate/professional students: to be considered for federal loans you must be enrolled in at least 4 units. Annual aggregate limits apply.
- Meet Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) standards
Applying for Aid
There is no separate application needed to apply for summer financial aid.
Summer awarding begins in April, 2025. If you are eligible for financial aid in the Summer, you will be able to view it on your MyCSUEB portal. Students can accept/decline their summer awards through their MyCSUEB.
Summer Aid Disbursements
Disbursements will be no earlier than 10 days prior to the start of the semester.
