Housing for International Students
Though on-campus housing is available, it is limited and most Cal State East Bay students choose to live off campus and walk or commute to school.
2-4 bedroom apartments are available in Pioneer Heights or University Village. Select on-campus housing for more information.
Students also have an option to live in off-campus apartments, rented rooms or in shared houses. There are several apartment facilities located within walking distance or accessible to campus by public transit (AC Transit bus route 60 or the BART).
The Housing and Residential Life Office provides information for off campus living and resources for identifying off-campus housing for students, faculty and staff. The office provides off-campus rental listings, landlord and tenant issue information and referrals, campus area and city maps, bus route schedules and information, and consumer information to assist you in making housing decisions. You may visit the Housing Office in person to see their housing listings.
Please also see these general Tips for Apartment Seekers.
Note: These suggestions regarding off-campus housing are provided to assist you. California State University, East Bay does not endorse any off-campus housing option and has no official affiliation with these vendors.
