Reimagining the Concord Campus

Cal State East Bay's Concord Campus, located off Ygnacio Parkway in the rolling hills of Contra Costa County, is the public university in Contra Costa County for those who want quality education in a small college setting at an affordable price. For over 25 years, Cal State East Bay’s Concord Campus has been dedicated to meeting the educational and workforce needs of Contra Costa County and beyond by providing quality degree, credential and certificate programs in a variety of industries and fields.

As a starting point for reimagining the creation and delivery of career-centered education at the Concord Campus, the Reimagining the Concord Campus Task Force members focused attention on the evolving trends and unmet needs of regional owners, professionals, and managers primarily in the region of Contra Costa County and the northern Tri-Valley. The Concord Campus can be positioned as a proactive, accessible, and readily available resource and community partner for career-seekers, career-changers and mid-career practitioners in the region.

The Reimagine Concord Task Force developed proposed recommendations in support of Future Directions goals and priorities. Read the June 2022 Task Force Report.
